A New Approach to Strategy Execution

Corporations can spend months developing novel strategies yet fail to translate them into value-added actions. In the face of continuous digitalization and sustainability challenges, successful corporate strategists must ensure flawless execution, which starts with aligning the people, processes, resources and stakeholder interests involved in the change process.

Getting Things Done: Strategic Leadership will help you better understand and orchestrate change processes and develop the core competencies – governance, strategy formulation and organization – needed to make things happen.

Aimed at top-tier executives, this 2.5-day program may be taken as a stand-alone or in combination with Getting Things Done: Power, Influence and Networks, imparted the same week on IESE’s Barcelona campus.

  • Acquire an integrated view of the strategic process to frame your decisions from strategic, operational and political perspectives.
  • Map the organizational structures, people and processes necessary to execute your strategic vision.
  • Explore how to effectively address two key drivers of change common to most industries: digitalization and sustainability.
  • Gain insights to better communicate your strategy and promote a shared understanding of current challenges and desired outcomes.

The “Getting Things Done: Strategic Leadership” program is structured around the following topics:
