Redesign your business

The Business Model Innovation Program will help you to embrace the future of business now. You will design and implement a business model for a new venture, redesign the business model of an existing firm or business unit, and/or develop a business model innovation strategy for your firm.

Format: Part-time program.
Structure: 3 live online modules + 2 Business Model Challenges + BMI Conference
Language: English
Length: Three 3-day modules scheduled just 4 weeks apart to support you on your action-driven implementation plan and get the transformation started by the end of your learning journey. The program culminates in an innovation conference 3 months later.

    June 1-3, 2022 – Online (3 half days)
    – Business model evaluation: NICE model, value propositions
    – Strategic design of innovative business models: design thinking, design drivers, strategic design
    – Business model design process: finding the right problem to solve, prototyping business models
    – Entrepreneurial startup techniques applied to BMI: Discovery-driven planning, lean startup
    – Guest speaker (designer)

  • Module 3: Making Business Model Innovation Happen
    June 27-29, 2022 – Online
    (3 half days)
    – Adopting an entrepreneurial mindset and leadership to overcome barriers
    – Implementing business model innovation in established firms (implementation challenges, overcoming barriers, creating fit)
    – Business planning as risk minimization: Developing a winning business case and effective pitching
    – Guest speaker (CEO on BMI rejuvenation / implementation challenges)
  • BMI Conference
    October 4, 2022 – Online

A highly action-driven program with a majority of synchronous live sessions given by internationally renowned experts on BMI strategy as well as invited practitioners.

Admissions and Fees

The admission process entails a three-step process:

  1. Participants complete and submit the online application.
  2. The Executive Education Department emails the participant to acknowledge receipt and provide further details on program dates and bank details to submit payment.
  3. The participant pays the program fee. This is an essential requisite to access the program.


  • General fee: € 12,000
  • Members fee: € 11,400

Corporate fee applicable for 3-5 participants per company.
The program fee is tax-exempt.

Payment Details
We accept payments by credit card or wire transfer.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received within 20 days before the program launch are subject to a fee equivalent to 25% of tuition. IESE reserves the right to cancel this edition or modify dates up to 20 days prior to its start. IESE is under no circumstances responsible for travel expenses incurred. Participants should consider travel cancellation coverage in the exceptional event that the program is cancelled or if they are unable to attend for personal or professional reasons.
